Our Mission
Lighthouse Labs exists to give referring clinicians the molecular data they need to act — quickly, clearly, and with confidence. We run nine validated multiplex PCR panels covering the conditions providers see most: respiratory, gastrointestinal, urinary, sexually transmitted, wound, vaginitis, and fungal infections.
Every panel is designed and validated against the question a clinician actually needs answered at the point of care. Results are returned as clear Detected / Not Detected calls per target, with reflex resistance markers for the bacterial positives that change antibiotic choice.
We are an independent laboratory — not affiliated with a single health system — which lets us serve referring providers across Florida from a focused, modern molecular operation.
Our Laboratory
All testing is performed in-house on the Bio-Rad CFX384 real-time PCR system, a 384-well thermocycler optimized for high-throughput multiplex qPCR. Our panels are Laboratory Developed Tests (LDTs) validated under CLIA 42 CFR §493.1253, with ongoing quality control, calibration, and proficiency testing.
